Hello EP Cyclists Club Members! It is that time of year to nominate and elect positions for our board in accordance with our by-laws.
Only active club members can be nominated/volunteer for a position and participate in the vote. Nominated club members will be notified for concurrence or not before placed on the voting form.
We are looking forward to a great year in 2025 with more trips and activities in the works. This is your opportunity to contribute as you can towards enhancing our club!

- Member Voting: 9-18 December 2024
- Results Announced at our Annual Christmas Party to be scheduled between 18-30 December 2024
Elected Board Members will begin positions starting 1 January 2025.

Positions Summary:
-President: Serves as the lead representative for the club, presides over club meetings, and coordinates the work of the officers and committees. Coordinates for club insurance as required and authorized to commit club funds for club activities as voted by the majority of the board.
-Vice President of Operations: Assists the club president and assumes the president office and powers in the absent of the president and may head specific projects or oversee specific actives to lessen the President’s work.
-Vice President of Programs: Plans and organizes programs to create interest in cycling and the club. The programs should be relative to all cyclists levels from the elite t the beginning rider. They shall Las bee responsible for and organize the annual club banquet.
-Secretary: Records the minutes of each board meeting a general meeting of the club. Presents minutes of each meeting and maintains the By-Laws. Conducts correspondence and gives notice of meetings to all members. Shall be authorized to commit club funds for activities as voted by the majority of the board.
-Treasurer: Maintains custody of all club funds, keeping books of accounts, record, bank statements, receipts, budgets, invoices as required. Shall be authorized to commit club funds for acitivities as voted by the majority of the board. Makes finical repots and accounts for all funds received by EP Cyclists. Coordinates for the filing of EP Cyclists’ annual Tax Returns.
-Membership Director: Promotes membership in EP Cyclists, coordinates with outside organizations on membership related matters, responds to member inquiries, collects and forwards membership dues to the Treasurer. Maintains a membership listing and database.
-Rides Director: Coordinates and oversees the schedule of all rides offered by EP Cyclists. Assures that the rides are published and communicated to the membership. Assists new ride leaders in the process of establishing rides and training of club ride leaders.
-Advocacy Director: Engages in activities that defend the rights of cyclists. Work with elected officials, governmental employees and other cycling advocacy groups on both a local and state basis.
-Special Events Director: Engages in planning, organizing, coordinating and probing of EP Cyclists Club events.
